❥Choosing a suitable kennel for your pitbull
Choosing the right kennel for your Pit Bull could be the difference between a safe day at home or coming home to find your Pit Bull friend injured or worse, dead.
I know that may sound harsh or over the top, but when you’ve heard so many stories of a Pit Bull leaving the yard only to be hit by a car on the other side of the dash, it doesn’t even appear in the picture.
My personal opinions on Pit Bull housing and safety don’t really come into play here. Although I believe a dog should be kept indoors or given proper outdoor housing, some people will not bring their dogs indoors and think that one of those Petco igloo dog houses is fine for their Pit Bulls dwelling.
You will find several options to house your Pit Bull. We’ll cover options like creating a modular kennel to how to build an outdoor dog kennel.
Before we get into the type of dog cage you want to set up, we need to cover a few basics.
❥Exterior or interior that is the kennel question of the day
If you’re like me, you think dogs should get some time outside. Logic tells us that spending time outside is healthier than being trapped inside a house all day. I mean my doctor has told me numerous times to “get out there and move” to improve my health. The same logic, at least for me, applies to dogs as well.
Indoor air pollution is worse than outdoor air pollution and giving your Pit Bull a break from that helps keep them healthy.
On the other hand, I am not saying that your dog should spend his life in an outdoor kennel either. I’m saying that having a good balance between indoor and outdoor life is healthier for your pet in the long run (in my opinion).
Wherever you decide to set up your kennel, make sure you have enough space for it. There is nothing worse than walking into a client’s home to see their dog kennel trapped in the corner of the smallest room in the house, isolated from the rest of the family. Give your dog some space.
For indoors I suggest a play area type setup. You can use the smaller modular kennel setups for this or you can modify a pet pen for your dog. If you have a Pit Bull puppy, a playpen is a great way to give them some freedom and house train them.
You can also use a portable kennel and place it inside the play to give your dog a safe area in your home. By placing one of these portable kennels in the pen area, you provide your dog with a good place to rest and take a break.
Next on the list of options is setting up an outdoor kennel. Outdoor dog kennels give you more options because you have more space.
I suggest a large kennel that is none smaller than 6-7 feet tall and 5 feet wide by ten feet long. The best kennels are even larger ranging from 6-7 feet tall and 20 feet by 20 feet or 30 by 30 feet. Basically the more space the better.
With outdoor dog kennel setups, you can purchase a pre-made or modular kennel or you can build your own kennel based on your plans or your own creativity.
❥Fonts for Dog Kennel Set-Ups
Before I sat down to write this article, I did. Some look to suppliers online for various types of kennel facilities that would be suitable for Pit Bulls. From puppies to adults, you must find something from the following companies to suit your needs.
One of the companies that I found that offers a variety of online dog solutions is Stacks and Stacks.
They offer indoor and outdoor dog kennels at reasonable prices.

Whatever type of kennel you choose and where whenever you choose to set it up, it’s not as important as providing a high-quality setup to make your Pit Bull more comfortable and a safe place for them to hang out while you is absent or so they can enjoy the outdoors and enjoy. some fresh air.
