❥ Lola the Dog Reunited ❥
Lola, who was trained to help the Michigan owner in the seizure, went missing from the fenced yard in 2017. One base of her old blanket was enough for Lola: the black lab was in the hands of her owners just three years after the Michigan dog went missing on a trip to suburban Chicago.
“I think I’m in a dream right now,” Debra Mezeur said Saturday when she was reunited with Lola at the Dupage County Animal Service. Lala went missing from a fenced yard in 2017 while visiting a friend in Elk Grove Village, Kalamajur Meyers, Michigan.
The couple returned about a month later in search of a dog specially trained by Deborah Mejeur in the case of the arrest. Meyers posted notices, received help from volunteers and hired professional pet investigators. No luck.
Dupage County authorities received a call last week from a couple in Glendale Heights who have been targeting Lola for the past few years in forest conservation.
Kept food for the dog and gained his trust. A microchip has revealed the owners of Lolita. “I think I still had an ounce of hope, but most of me thought he had already crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I was completely stunned, ”Deborah Mejeur said. Lala hung her tail while sniffing her old blanket. Of course, no one knew how the dog survived for three years.
